Ceiling joist time

Other than the Phase 10 trim, this is the end of the instruction book for the house build.

Now we move to the internal portion of the build, the only part of the instructions here are the blueprints for the wall locations. One thing that is not referenced is the ceiling type. We struggled over how we wanted to do the ceiling, in the end we just went simple and did a 8 foot ceiling throughout the house. I was able to purchase 30 foot joists that were delivered from our local lumber store. My brothers helped me put them all up in four locations between the posts. The next day I was able to stupidly move each one into position and secure them by myself. It was touch and go on a few of them - I would never recommend anyone doing those by themselves.I used hurricane clips to secure them to the top cap for the studs.
