Ready for mud and tape
With the drywall hung it was time for the mud and tape. We elected to go with an orange peel texture to the walls after the mud and tape was done. A few of the pictures are of the heat and AC unit in the attic.
The dining room/foyerThe kitchen there will be an island in the center. There is a wire in the concrete for the electric to the island outlets.
The living room with the french doors to the back porch
The hallway. I will say it is one of the widest hallways I have seen in a house.
Guest bedroom
The man cave, windows out to the east and south.
Hallway closet
The man cave looking south. The wall on the right was reinforced with 2x6 between the wood studs to hold the 60 inch TV. I don't know if the supplied studs would hold a TV with that weight.
The master bedroom. I really should have measured our bedroom furniture before we decided on where to put the window and door. Because the room has doors on three walls that only left one for the headboard and the window ended up getting partially covered.
We put the electrical box in the master bedroom walk in closet. There was still room to spare.
The false wall in the master bath. That tankless water heater requires three 40 AMP 240 volt circuits. The good thing is it doesn't run unless water is running through it.
The utility room off the kitchen.
The living room. Lots of power outlets on that wall along with the cable hookup for satellite.
Up in the attic with the duct work and the foam insulation.
